A light wind swept over the corn, and all
nature laughed in the sunshine. ~~Anne
Bronte
The farmers' market will run as usual from 4 to
7 pm. I think we usually start serving free ice
cream at 5:30 pm in St. James Church parking
lot, which makes sense. 1 hour and half is
probably our limit.
APRICOTS!
And you could have them too. Stop by the
Delaware Area Farmers' Market in St. James
Church Parking lot, next to Key Bank, on
Tuesdays between 4 and 7 pm for the first of
the season. You could also get blueberries,
honey, cherry tomatoes, lettuce, a variety of
greens, beans, jams, salsa, natural meats and
baked goods galore. In addition to our regular
expert baker, St. James will be having a bake
sale.
Stop by and welcome INES Beauty Salon at 342
Delaware Avenue (478-0174) They have recently
relocated from Delmar and renovated beautifully
next to Cardonas. Delaware Avenue has become
THE place to get your hair cut or styled!
* Sunshine in the form of very delicious corn,
honey, tomatoes, apricots, greens, jam and
homemade baked goods will available at the
Delaware Neighborhood Farmer's Market on
Tuesday from 4 to 7 pm in the St. James parking
lot, next to the Key Bank.
* We know many people are very anxious to help
our neighbors whose house and all its contents
burned to the ground on Cuyler Avenue this
month. DANA has set up a special fund at Key
Bank to be split among the residents. If you'd
like to contribute, you can go to Key Bank and
tell the teller that you want to contribute to
the "John Pratt, Michael Sagar & Tim
Neimeyer Fund." I'll give it a try it tomorrow
so if you have any questions, please e-mail me
at mlmcneilly@earthlink.net or call
432-0516.
* The neighborhood wide garage sale is
scheduled for Saturday, August 25th. If you'd
like to participate in this extra stuff
extravaganza call Diane at 527-5739.
